I could cry just writing about this decadent dessert.
What a genius concept. Combine two of our most popular and classic sweets: Cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies! I stumbled upon the recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mini-Cheesecakes on Denise Smith’s site, called Cooking My Way to a Man’s Heart. I happen to be friends with Denise on Facebook and notice she’s always posting photos of the most delicious looking foods I’ve ever seen! So I decided to put this recipe to the test, since the mere idea of combining cheesecake and cookies made my mouth water.
I was amazed at how easy it was to get through the recipe and instructions. Looking at the photo, (the yummy, yummy photo) it looks like quite an undertaking to create these little bites of heaven. But things moved along swiftly! Mine didn’t end up quite as pretty as Denise’s, but they were unbelievably tasty! The cookie, because there’s no egg in it, (which is a safe move) ended up super chewy, so the texture allowed the taste of the cookie and the cheesecake to blend together beautifully. I mean, wow. This is one dessert you do not want to miss!
