EASY ORGANIZING

Surprise, surprise… Another post about organizing makeup! I know, I get a little too excited over organization, but it makes such a difference in the way I keep my space and find what I’m looking for, so I make it a priority.

I’m particularly excited about this new discovery because it’s made my makeup and hair station so much neater and more organized. It’s fairly inexpensive and it’s completely customizable: The KUPOL pull-out storage unit from Ikea. It’s a frosted clear drawer unit that you can stack easily and safely (each drawer has a space where you can snap another one into place on top of it) and it comes with dividers.

It comes in different sizes, too, so you can get exactly what suits your needs. I needed a lot of space, so I got the largest size, it’s almost 21 inches wide and 14 inches deep. I ended up getting two and had to go back to get another one! You can see I’ve used the dividers to make four compartments in one drawer and eight compartments in another. In the top drawer (which I haven’t photographed because I’m still working on organizing it… It’s a bit messy!) I only installed two of the dividers so I have two smaller compartments and one large compartment.

Like I said, it’s totally customizable depending on what you’re trying to organize. It’s the perfect organizing unit for makeup and hair products! And best of all, it’s not an expensive and clunky drawer that you have to put together… it’s compact and, like I’ve done with my makeup table, you can tuck it away under another piece of furniture to save space.
