At first look, you can tell the shadows in the Limited Edition Paris Palette by Sigma Beauty are so highly pigmented… Especially that blue!! It’s both navy blue and electric blue at the same time; just the perfect shade of blue to make your eyes really stand out. I know blue eyeshadow is difficult to use for many, (trying to avoid a throwback to the 80′s is tough!) so I blended the blue with a few of the other colors in the palette to create a stunning smokey eye. Here are the colors I used to achieve this look:
(refer to the photo below, from top left):
Eiffel – I used this super dark shade of blue (almost black) on the outer corners of my eyes up to my crease. This color took up about 1/3 of my lids and I used it over the brighter blue base.
Seine – This is that shockingly deep blue! I used this color wet so that the pigment showed up even more. This was the first color I applied, and I applied it all over my lids up to the crease.
Elysées – I used this maroon/plum shade to blend out both Seine and Eiffel. This color looks great with the blue and softens up the whole look.
Notre Dame – I used Notre Dame (wet) to achieve a nice highlight just at the center of my lids. I started at the center of my lash line and just worked up to the crease.
Rouge (blush) – This was the main blush color that I used.
Lumiére (blush/highlight) – I used this color to blend out my blush under my eyes and next to my nose. It gives a nice highlighting effect with that soft pearly pink.
NARS lip gloss in Chelsea Girls – One of my all-time favorites. A soft nude lip is perfect with this look!

Hmmmm.. What do I think?.lol.. Your absolutely gorgeous it’s insane!!
Teni, are you doing a video for this look by any chance? I like the lip gloss you are wearing on you, however, on the right side of the picture it looks dark… So I’m assuming its dark?
Not sure if you checked out the sigma (glove) which is used to clean your brushes, brilliant I must say!

yes, tutorial goes up on Thursday! I know the gloss looks darker on the right, but it does come up lighter. The lighting in the picture is actually very bright, so in person it’s somewhere in between. You’ll see it in the video

Awesome!! One thing I have to say Teni, I really do respect the fact that you do answer almost everyone’s questions… That truly show’s what kind of a person you are …CLASSY!
Have you ever traveled outside of the US ? If yes, you should come down to Toronto, I’m sure you have a lot of followers that would love to meet you, and get advice in person!

thank you for the sweet comment, that means a lot.
I have traveled outside the US, but not to Canada yet! My mom and I are making plans to visit Toronto in the near future. We’ve heard it’s such a beautiful city, and one of my foster dogs from a couple years ago now lives with a lovely woman in Halifax so that’s another reason we want to travel to Canada… to visit with our little guy!

If you manage to make a trip to Halifax and visit your foster dogs, make sure you stop off to Toronto, their are plenty of foster dogs here too that you would just die for! Ohh that also means we would love to meet you! Lol

Beautiful Teni! As a new mom to a 2.5 year old and a 6-month old, I recently discovered this blog and LOVE your ‘everyday makeup’ tutorial. It has made me feel like ‘me’ again. I don’t have alot of time for myself anymore so this helps a great deal. And I hope you do come to Toronto, I would love to come and meet you!

Hi Teni,
I absolutely love your website, tips & tricks. I follow Alexa Persico cosmetics on Instagram and I noticed you used that brand concealer to contour in the video. I would like to order it and I have the same skin tone as you. What color do you use? Light Ivory Beige or Natural Beige Medium? Thank you!!
