Here’s a brand new discount code for the month of March! Use code SAVE2013 to get 10% off your purchase at SigmaBeauty.com, and remember: If you spend $30 or more, you get a free gift! Here are my favorite picks this month:
Sigma recently launched a collection of eyeshadow bases and I’m loving these colors!! I’m really into plums and coppers when it comes to eyeshadow, so Dash and Strike are two of my favorite base colors from Sigma. You can wear them alone or build with eyeshadow over them… Either way, these two colors are just stunning!
.
You can also get these two colors plus a gorgeous gold base called Unveil in the Eyeshadow Base Kit – Dare.
On to the brushes! Part of creating a flawless face and achieving the perfect eyeshadow look is using the right brushes. Most especially when it comes to under eye concealer, sometimes people have trouble getting the concealer to look natural and not totally visible. I’m loving the Sigma F65 Large Concealer brush. It’s perfect for laying down concealer under your eyes, but you can also use it to highlight the bridge of your nose or even highlight just below your cheekbones to make sure your contour really stands out! The larger (and flat) shape allows you to really stipple your concealer onto your skin so that it blends in more naturally.
And if you’re looking to invest in a good set of brushes that you can use for both concealer and eyeshadow, (whether a creamy base or a traditional powder shadow) I’m loving the Synthetic Precision Kit. It’s a set of 4 brushes, each in a different shape for maximum control when it comes to application. I particularly like the tapered brush; it really allows you to get into those hard to reach areas like the corners of your eyes. If you pick up any of the eyeshadow base colors, these brushes would be perfect to apply those, too! And because they’re synthetic, they work wonderfully for creams (including concealer) as well.
Don’t forget to use code SAVE2013 to get 10% off your purchase through the end of March! Happy Shopping!

Which complete set would you recommend? There’s a few complete sets which makes me not sure on which to buy. I am mainly focused on a flawless face more than eyes (not too big on eye shadows) . I’d appreciate your recommendation. Have a great weekend!

Hey Michelle, it sounds like the “Face Kit” might be best for you: http://www.sigmabeauty.com/product_p/fk001.htm?Click=398586 It’s got everything for foundation, blush, powder, and concealer. This is a good kit if you want face only and no extras! And I love the chic black handles
