HOW TO CREATE A CAT EYELINER | MissMaven.com | Beauty Blog
wingedliner

A clean winged liner can look so good yet can be so difficult to achieve! With a combination of a steady hand and some strategy, though, you can create a sleek liner that suits the shape of your eye.

My personal favorite liner to work with is the Eyeko Skinner Liquid Eyeliner, a waterproof and smudge proof formula that’s easy to use. In fact, Eyeko has a new liner release coming very soon that I cannot wait to share!! I have a feeling I’ll be wearing a bold liner pretty often in the coming months.

In the meanwhile, practice your winged liner skills using my step-by-step how-to on DivineCaroline.com, complete with photos. Good luck!

I didn’t really like it, because whenever I used it, it dried out after a few seconds! Or maybe I was doing something wrong?

The key is to hold it at a downward angle, that way the felt tip is saturated with the product. I noticed that myself at first and then learned the trick to getting the product out! When you hold it at a downward angle (which is how you should apply anyway) it flows well. I will also say that Eyeko has a new and improved formula coming out very soon… Stay tuned!

I absolutely love liquid liner! I heard so many great reviews about Eyeko, but I didn’t enjoy it when I got it! Maybe I just got a bad one!

winged eyeliner is my signature look I would say, and red lips (I love reds). I either use gel liners or my japanese liquid liners xxx

You are so talented. I was also wondering how you got your hair so much lighter in earlier posts.
    Lots of love,

You know, I had the ombre about 5 years ago and kept it for probably the last 4 years. I had my colorist put in honey and beige highlights in my hair, but my natural hair color is extremely dark… It’s just one step away from BLACK! So it was difficult to maintain that color all the time. Instead, I started letting it grow out and only adding a few of the honey colored highlights, and eventually stopped the highlighting altogether, thus creating an authentic ombre.
