(see the end of the post for an opportunity for LA residents!)
It’s always a pleasure for me to review hair products that claim to add softness and shine to my dry, brittle hair. My hair is dry to begin with because of its coarse, frizzy, and curly texture, but the fact that I color treat it and heat style makes it even more dry and thus thirsty for more nourishment. Bumble and Bumble just sent me their Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner because I explained to them the nature of my hair. Immediately I noticed what makes this particular shampoo unique: It’s got a blend of six different oils in it. I found coconut oil, argan oil, macadamia nut oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower seed oil, and grapeseed oil in the ingredients, all known to be effective softening agents for hair and skin. I eagerly tried out the shampoo (sulfate-free) and conditioner, along with Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer. (This spray goes on before styling and it’s supposed to protect from heat and UV damage.)
I went ahead and blow dried my hair using a round brush to see if the Bumble and Bumble products had made any improvements to my normally straw-like mane. To my glee, my hair was not only softer but fuller somehow. The hair that typically looks frazzled at the ends looked much softer and more tame. For me, the ultimate test of how soft hair looks is how it looks pulled back in a ponytail: So I got an elastic and pulled my hair back, revealing that perfect ‘s’ shape you dream of anytime you imagine the perfect ponytail! I’ve been wearing my hair tied back for the last three days, and I’m practically never in a ponytail.
In a very content conclusion, I’m loving the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil line; it’s a solid set of products!
And now for a fun opportunity for you!
