BEST. BRUSHES. EVER.

It seems most of the questions I get on my YouTube channel are about the brushes I use. Indeed, the tools can make all the difference in how your makeup turns out, and I’ve got a great brush line to share with you! A few months back I discovered Bdellium Tools (pronounced “dellium”) at Naimie’s Beauty Center in Valley Village, CA. The first thing that drew me to these brushes was the variety: From big and fluffy powder brushes down to the slim eyeliner brush, I was pleased with the selection Bdellium Tools had to offer. The next thing I noticed on these brushes were the prices… They were extremely inexpensive. So, of course, I got down to inspecting the quality. There’s no way they could be high-quality brushes at those prices, right?? Wrong. These brushes are top notch! I picked up a bunch of them, including the 957 buffing brush, which I use to apply my foundation, the 714 straight edge brush, which is hard to find but so useful, and the 776 blending brush, which I bought three of because I’m obsessed with them!!! The 776 is the best eye shadow brush I’ve ever used.

Considering I’ve been so happy with the Bdellium Tools brushes, I checked out their website and found that brushes are all they make. I then discovered they also make an eco-friendly line called Green Bambu, which made me love this brand even more! I picked up the 949 brush, which is a synthetic pointed foundation brush that I use for concealer in the hard-to-reach spots under my eyes. The fibers on these brushes are so soft, so they’re perfect for the more sensitive areas on your face. This particular brush also lays down setting powder very nicely… I’m now in the process of picking out more brushes from the Green Bambu line!

Be sure to visit the Bdellium Tools site to check out all their brush lines. Brushes are all they make, so it’s not hard to believe they’re damn good at it! You can order directly from the website or look up which stores near you carry Bdellium Tools under “Where to buy.”
