I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my eyebrows and how I shape them. And let me kick this off by saying that brows can really make or break your entire look! The right shape for your face and eyes is crucial. I was lucky enough to learn a few things about brows from the brow expert herself, Anastasia Soare, creator of Anastasia Beverly Hills. At the time, my brows were a bit too thin and the shape wasn’t quite perfect: The degree of my arch was a bit off, so with a few simple tips from Anastasia, I grew out my brows and began shaping them according to her Golden Ratio®.

Here’s a guide I created based on the Golden Ratio that you can use to create a perfect set of brows. I’ve also been getting a ton of questions about what products I use to shape and fill in my brows. Anastasia Beverly Hills makes an easy-to-use kit called Beauty Express for Brows and Eyes: It’s got two different shades of brow powder, a brow wax to keep the powder in place, two highlighting powders for your brow bone (one matte and one slightly shimmery), an angled brow brush, and— here’s the best part— five different brow stencils! Look out for a tutorial coming soon where I’ll show you how to use these stencils as well as how I freehand my own brows. Once you get to know your brows and work on them long enough, you become familiar with the right shape and know exactly what to do! For now, enjoy my little brow guide!

Yay! Thanks for the eyebrow tutorial! For lightening your brows would you just facial bleach for 1-2 minutes or have you tried using an actual hair dye? My brows are almost black like yours. Thanks!

My skin complexion is same as yours. What color do you get when you bleach your eyebrows? I’m afraid they will turn blond

    • I get them just SLIGHTLY lighter than my natural color because I only leave them on for 2 minutes MAX. If it’s your first time, check your brows after 1 minute, and if they look okay, leave it on for another 30 seconds then rinse off. If they look light enough at 1 minute, you can rinse off.
