I’ve been educating  myself on the potential harm of using traditional deodorant with aluminum in it, (which most of them have; the aluminum is what keeps your from perspiring) and I decided to make the switch to all-natural deodorant. This was a bit tough for me because, if I can be completely honest, I sweat like a pig. Don’t know why, I just sweat a lot. I made my first attempt at an all-natural deodorant by running over to Whole Foods and choosing from their fairly large selection. This, unfortunately, didn’t work. So I went back and picked another one. That one didn’t work either. At this point, I was out $20 and found no relief for my sweaty underarms. Finally, it occurred to me: Lush! Duh! Why hadn’t I tried Lush yet?? I immediately made my way to the Lush store and asked one of their always-friendly associates to help me pick a deodorant. I ended up choosing the T’eo bar, which has a mild scent and is great for sensitive skin, but I have to admit I was still skeptical. Was this all-natural product going to stop the sweat?

Well, what better place to try it out than 110-degree Las Vegas, NV? I happened to be going there with my girlfriends the day after I bought the T’eo deodorant from Lush. I popped the bar under each arm, said a prayer, and went about my day. By day’s end, I noticed I wasn’t soaking… Not only was I not soaking, I was completely dry under my arms. This was big. No, huge. I simply couldn’t believe it! Once again, Lush came to the rescue. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the T’eo deodorant, and neither could my clothes because now they get to stay dry!

Pick up the bar at just $7.95 at your nearest Lush boutique or get it online.

I love the Arbonne Pure Mint line. Besides Aluminum you need to be careful about parabens in your deodorant. I feel strongly in doing research on the products we put on our body and just a few simple searches for things like parabens, deodorant, aluminum and you can pull up some pretty scary results.

Whole Foods just started carrying Lavilin. Finally!!! It’s the best natural deodorant I have ever used. So happy other people can find it on the Whole Food shelves as well!
