I don’t use very many of MAC’s products, but a few of their products are mainstays in my makeup collection. One of them being the Paints, small tubes of cream color. But these aren’t just color; these Paints have a substantial texture to them because they’re also a base for your eyeshadow. I tried them for the first time about 5 years ago, and I’ve been using them under my eyeshadow (and sometimes alone!) ever since. Simply put, this stuff won’t let your eyeshadow budge!! From 8 a.m. to way past dark, my eyeshadow always looks exactly the same. No creases, no fading, nothing. I’m sure you all know how it feels to have your eyeshadow bunch together at your crease and make that ugly, clumpy line, right? I’ve never had that happen using MAC Paints.
If you haven’t tried them already, you absolutely must! In the past year, I believe, they’ve stopped using the tubes and transitioned into pots instead, they’re called Paint Pots (which makes me a little sad, because the formula doesn’t quite feel the same. But I know they still sell the tubes at some locations, so if you can find them, get them!).
My favorite colors: Bamboom, Baselight, and Sublime Nature.
