Make Up For Ever has always been one of my go-to brands for makeup. It all started with the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, which is still my favorite foundation to this day. But I hadn’t tried very many colors from MUFE… Until now!

I just got a batch of products from Make Up For Ever, including some colors and some flawless face picks. As expected, many of these turned out to be new favorites of mine, including the Artist Shadows, which I’ll be using in a tutorial very soon because they’re spectacular!

Read My Lips by theBalm

Lip gloss is one thing I just can’t seem to have enough of. The perfect nude, the perfect pink… The search never ends! Luckily I’ve added a few new favorites to my lip gloss collection thanks to theBalm‘s latest release, Read My Lips! This self-proclaimed ‘smart-mouthed’ lip gloss (packed with ginseng, by the way) comes in 11 gorgeous shades, some opaque and some sheer. If you’re into rich, luxe lip gloss shades, these are for you! I’ve already picked my favorites (Bam! and Snap!… Duh. You know I was going to go for the nude and the pink!) but the darker, more rich shades are to die for if you’re into a more dramatic lip.

smoky-eyeA smoky eye isn’t in my usual beauty routine. I very rarely reach for my 4 different blending brushes to make a smoky look like this happen! But It had been a while since I’d ventured into dramatic territory so I figured I was due for an updated smoky eye makeup tutorial. This time I kept the lids glimmering in gold and focused most of the intensity on the bottom lash line for an extra smoky look.

I’ve been patiently waiting to reveal a brand new collection from Sigma that’s all about my favorite makeup step: Brows!! Sigma’s new Frame Up collection focuses on brows and brows only: The Brow Expert Kit, Highlight Duo, and Brow Pencil.

The Brow Expert Kit (in Light, Medium, or Dark) comes with everything you need to create the perfect set of arches: It’s got a brow powder duo with one lighter and one darker brow powder, a pair of tweezers, scissors for trimming, a double ended brush and spooly tool, brow wax to keep everything in place, a highlight duo for your brow bone, and a sharpener to keep your brow wax in good shape! It’s the complete kit for A-Z brow maintenance. But if you’re more accustomed to filling in your brows with a pencil, they’ve also launched four brand new brow pencils which I use practically every day.
