VIDEO: BROWN SMOKEY EYE

thumb

This look came highly requested after my Big Sexy Hair video! It’s a simple way to achieve a soft smokey eye without going too dark. And I used so few products!!! Just two eyeshadows and a liner… Here’s what I used:

MAC Eyeshadows in Soba and Embark
Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Onyx
Diorshow Iconic Mascara
Red Cherry Lashes #523
Lash Royalty lashes in “Luxe 1” (the lashes were already glued together)

Brushes:
Bdellium Tools 776
Smashbox Eyeshadow Brush
Bdellium Tools 714
Bdellium Tools 780

I’ve been following your blog religiously for more than a year and you always have the best posts! I was just curious if you have ever experimented with any organic makeup lines? If so, do you have any recommendations?

    • The closest I’ve tried are Urban Decay (much of their makeup is vegan) and Tarte (their line is mostly natural). I haven’t looked much into organic makeup just because there’s such a fine line between “organic” and “natural,” but I would definitely recommend both Urban Decay and Tarte!

This Tutorial is really helpful to me I’m going to try this tutorial out, and you look really gorgeous πŸ™‚
Do you know where will I be able to buy the two false lashes and the black glue from ? Any online store that sells it because I live in New Zealand πŸ™‚

    • Believe it or not, I would say Ebay might be your best bet! You can find a seller that will ship internationally, or even find a seller in NZ. I know they sell Red Cherry lashes on Ebay, but for the Lash Royalty lashes, you can use their International Order Form to get in touch with them about an order to NZ. Just visit lashroyalty.com. Lastly, for the Duo Lash Adhesive in the dark tone, they actually sell it at Sephora and Sephora.com, and if that doesn’t work out for you, they also sell it on Amazon.com πŸ™‚ hope this helps!

    What highlight did you use?

  • J says:

Is there a close dupe for soba in any of the urban decay naked pallets??

    • Sure; in the Naked 1 palette you can use Naked or Buck, or mix them together. Depending on your complexion you may want it just a tad darker or lighter so you can mix if necessary.

Thank you soooooo much! I am so happy I just discovered ur blog and youtube videos! Your are stunning inside and out! You should do a hair color video .

  • Liz says:

You have the most beautiful teeth I have ever seen! Are they crowns/veneers? If so, what type and how much did it cost?! I am very interested and you are an absolute inspiration. You are beautiful inside and out πŸ™‚

    • No ma’am, they’re my teeth πŸ™‚ I have a friend who is getting lumineers soon, though. That’s another option and I think less invasive than veneers, if I’m not mistaken! xo
